Because Amalfi Living handcrafts each piece of furniture one at time, right here in the USA, everything about our collections are customizable. From altering the size of the frame to specialized fabric cushions & finishes. We work with your requests, many times, without compromising our short lead times of 8-10 weeks.
As with our metal work our upholsters make each cushion by hand, tailored to your order, in our in-house workroom. They are master seamstresses in their own right. Our cushions are upholstered with Sunbrella Fabrics and include contrast welting. Clients may choose from approximately 200+ fabric swatches including; solids, stripes and patterns. We also accommodate customer owned materials at no additional cost. Pillows and bolsters are not included, but are available.
AMALFI FLOW THRU CUSHIONS
Amalfi Flow Thru Cushions are the ultimate upgrade! Made with the same care as our multi-purpose cushions except, flow through foam keeps luxury outdoor cushions fresher and lasting longer. Additionally, the mesh bottom provides an escape route for water while allowing additional air circulation. In other words, Amalfi Flow Thru Cushions dry faster which is the key to preventing algae & mold.
Our luxurious furniture comes in epoxy coated steel, pictured left, or solid stainless steel, pictured right. Both frames are electrostatically powder coated, as exemplified by the Black chair in the photo on the left. The furniture frames used will depend on the weather and environment of the final destination.
EXPOXY COATED STEEL: An epoxy finish safeguards our furniture frames from a wide variety of effects such as; ultraviolet rays, chemicals, food acids, water immersion, abrasion and high-pressure washdowns.
STAINLESS STEEL: Our solid stainless steel frames are marine grade and will not rust. We recommend this frame for clients within 100 miles of the coast or other similarly corrosive environments. We
FINISHES & FINIALS
The photo above shows our beautiful finial options while demonstrating the furniture frames finishes. The first finial is a brass option, which is considered an upgrade. The other finishes are standard: Corsica Black, Espresso Brown & Alabaster White. Custom finishes available on request.
HOW TO POLISH BRASS FINIALS
In the video to the right, we demonstrate the best way to polish our brass finials. Simply take a rag with a drop of brass polisher on it, then briskly polish the finial with a twisting motion.
